Below are pictures of Susannah finding all the goodies that Santa gave her. Here she is riding her new rocking horse...go Susannah go!
Santa also gave Susannah a fish that she named Dori! Yes, we have a male betta named Dori...details, details. Susannah loves her new fish.
And here is the family picture on Christmas Day. That's about as good as it gets these days - 1 out of 4 actually looking at the camara, ha!
It's stocking time! Susannah could not wait to open the stockings. As I mentioned in my earlier Christmas posts, a stocking was the only thing she asked Santa for. Here she is emptying Sophie's stocking....
And now onto her stocking....Santa knows Susannah so well....he gave her books with her favorite characters, a new bible that's just her size, and lots of coloring and activity books.
And of course, Santa had to add some real fun...slinkys!
Do you like her Winnie the Pooh bracelet?
Now onto the wrapped gifts....this is one of Susannah's favorite new gifts. It's a toy story book that came with figures and a layout of Andy's room. She plays with it constantly and her toy story "friends" are always with her these days.
Susannah's hugging Buzz Lightyear
Take a good look...this is the last tooth shot where all teeth are in tact. Sometime between this moment and the next 48 hours Susannah Jane chipped her left front tooth. And here's the kicker - she didn't even tell me that it happened. We were cuddling on the bed Monday (27th) night and I noticed it. She just laughed when I asked her about it. Yep, I have toddler that likes to play so much that she doesn't feel the need to stop even when her teeth are being knocked out! Luckily, she still has most of the tooth, so we won't pull it or try to cap it or anything - the two front teeth are just uneven now. She still has the cutest smile ever :) We're keeping our fingers crossed that the tooth doesn't bruise and discolor. Say a little prayer for her!
The fun continued on Christmas night. My parents had us over for dinner and we were so surprised to see that Santa had visited their home too! Susannah was very excited to find a doll house, airplane, and a new art easel!
Love this picture....Susannah found this horn hanging in my parent's home. She immediately said that it was an instrument from "Little Einsteins" and started playing it. She was blowing on it so hard (look at her cheeks in the picture!) - her efforts were impressive and we were all just cracking up.
Natalie and Drew gave Susannah this awesome teddy bear tent. She loves it. I actually think this might be the scene of the "cracked tooth" crime. We had lots of friends over the following day and the kids loved playing in the tent together. It's such fun for them!
And my parents gave Susannah her first Barbie doll! She loves her new barbie, of course. My dad told me that it's the best barbie on the market because she comes with no additional "pieces" - spoken like the father of 2 girls that had countless barbies and tons of barbie clothes, accessories, etc. Smart thinking Papa! :)
One of her new favorite books...the complete book of Toy Story stories.
Another great Nat gift - the pony flash light that "neighs" too! It's perfect for her tent. And how about the darling hat from Yaya and Papa - my mom showered Susannah with some great clothes this year!
Some late night reading...it's time to go home and go to bed now....what a wonderful Christmas Day! Thank you Santa and family!!
