Christmas Eve was very fun this year. We first went to the preschool service at our church. Michael helped by reading the Christmas story. Susannah loved seeing her daddy on stage and had to join him, of course! Also, she was very concerned about baby Jesus. When the service started, she told me that he was crying and jumped out of my lap, ran onto stage, picked-up baby Jesus, and rocked him while sitting with Michael on stage. It was complete sweetness and all I could do was smile.
Here she is checking on baby Jesus....
And now she has him in her arms, rocking him and taking him to sit down. She's also explaining to Jill, our children's director, that he's crying and needs to be held. She's having this conversation with Jill while Michael is telling the Christmas story...oh, it was so funny!
Children gathered on stage to sing songs

Our 3rd Christmas with our beautiful Susannah Jane. We love you very much!
Whitney snuck out during the family pic so I snapped this one of she and Morgan in front of the church tree - so cute!
The soon-to-be Haymakers first Christmas as an engaged couple!
Now, let the wild fun begin! We ate dinner at my mom's house and the kids had a blast playing together. Alot of wrestling and goofing off was had by all. :)
Charlie (4) and Susannah (2)
Ford (7) joining in on the fun
And Morgan (12 months) joining in on the fun too!
Dinnertime had it's goofy moments too....the boys wore their plates as hats and Susannah used her utencils as drumsticks. Of course they did!
Post-dinner couch time with Uncle Bubba
Precious Morgan all ready for bed in her pj's
And when you're the new guy in the family....you're left on the couch with the babies. haha! You're a natural Drew!
Look, it's me and Morgan! See, my own daughter doesn't look much like me, but someone in my family does! :)
Dessert time - Susannah and I made a "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake and these munchkins just couldn't wait to get a bite. They had their fingers in the icing before the candle was even blown out!
Susannah loving on her Daddy
And let the real fun begin. The kids love to wrestle Michael. I'm pretty sure they see him as a human jungle gym. First Susannah jumped in and in this pic Ford is cracking up as Michael pats her bottom. Susannah was giggling so loudly.
And of course Charlie jumps in as Susannah climbs around to Michael's back and I think Ford may be preparing some Ninja moves :)
It was a fun Christmas Eve filled with laughter, worship, delicious food (thank you Mom & Karen!), celebration, and lots of love!
