It's Charlotte's 20-year Casady Reunion!

The kids helped me move our 1998 class composite from campus to the party.

It was such a fun weekend of celebration and catching up with old friends!

 

Susannah joined the 4th Grade Circle the State with Song Choir this year.

She is loving the opportunities to sing with her friends and perform statewide.

As a 4th grader, Susannah gets the privilege to acolyte during school chapel. She also read the epistle and gospel multiple times. It was a joy to see her serving God and Casady!

Mrs. Yost shared this picture with me. She was excited to share that Susannah is always welcome by the Casady ducks. They're not afraid of her at all and actually welcome her presence. And from her big smile, it's obvious that Susannah loves her waddling friends too! :) 

Susannah told us that sometimes they sneak into the LD building and the teachers ask Susannah to guide them out of the building because they will actually listen to her and follow her outside! Too cute!

International Peace Day Celebration

We joined the kiddos gathered around a giant peace sign drawn in the lawn outside of the Chapel at Casady for music and celebration. It was so sweet and powerful all at the same time. 

August 2018

Look what we found! NCAA Football 2002 - Daddy's game! The kids were so excited to see Michael on a video game. we hooked up the 'ol Play Station 2 and enjoyed our first family gaming night.

 

 Happy 15 years to me and Michael!

 The kids surprised us with the best Anniversary gift...they took us back to our Honeymoon in Hawaii! They decorated Susannah's room with beach towels, leis, paper fish and sea animals, Hawaiian decor, stuffed animals, umbrellas, Jimmy Buffet music, and drums (aka pans & wooden spoons). It was completely adorable and so, so special!

God has brought me so many blessings...so thankful for my marriage to this awesome dude!

The kids are really into "Sock Skating" in the house, so we also received two tickets to their awesome performances!

Soakin' Up these last days of Summer

 Susannah was asked to submit a "Head Shot" for her theatre application. She ran to the back and put this little "Belle" ensemble together. It's PERFECT! Susannah, you are so precious. Love you so much! (And we got a sock skating performance, too!)

Cousin Time!

 Yeah! The Lees are here! Dana, Sadie, and Anna are in town for birthday fun and a trip to Frontier City. We had the best time celebrating and playing with our dear Tulsa friends.

 6 years from now and they will be driving off on their own - Whoa!

 Susannah started Flute lessons this month. 

She's wants to learn to read music - you go, girl!

Russell is also learning the Ukelele!

 Susannah was asked to be in a fundraising video for Casady.

She played herself and it was modeled after the Lucy's advice stand from the Peanuts comics. Susannah was giving advice to Drew on donating to the Casady Annual Fund.

She was fantastic! Way to go, Susannah! 

Russell's 1st grade orientation!

This is a big day for Russell seeing his classroom and meeting Mrs. Colley.

He's very excited to be in the Lower Division. And I am thrilled that he has Dee for his teacher!
