Happy Easter!

On Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at the country club. Sweet Susannah could have cared less about the actual hunt. She just wanted to pet the animals. She absolutely loves animals and pretty much has no fear thanks to living with a great dane. As any parent will tell you having zero fear of something has its pros and cons. Pros....no meltdowns, outgoing, very good with animals and Susannah especially has a huge heart for animals. Cons....may attempt to pick-up an animal at anytime (regardless of size or type), may attempt to ride an animal at anytime (again, regardless of size or type), often feels the need to "train" an animal.

This is the cutest....she finds the donkeys and goes into "training mode." She literally had a conversation with this donkey, it was so funny.

We don't have any pictures of Susannah actually hunting because when the hunt started, she just dropped her basket and headed back for the animals. I tried to show her how to pick-up eggs and she just said no. Daddy was not happy about this. His competitive side came out. Not kidding, my husband was the one throwing elbows to get her on the front line of the Ages 0-2 easter egg hunt. Nice.

On Sunday we had Easter lunch with family. The Ingram Easter Bunny brought Susannah an Easter cookie with her name on it...she was so happy! Check out this face -
