They said "Yes!" Susannah, Russell, and Brooke were asked to be in Ben and Christina's wedding! We are all so excited to share in this special time with the Lewallens. It will be so much fun - let the celebration begin!
Susannah's 2nd grade class is celebrating Dr. Seuss Read Across America. Students dressed up as their favorite book characters. Susannah was Rey from Star Wars.
Susannah and I attended the Girl Scouts Sleepover at the Zoo with her friend Adeline, and Adeline's mom, Aimee.
We first had a lesson on conservation, then we met an armadillo.
After snack, we took a night walk around the zoo with a special red light that lights up the exhibits but doesn't bother the animals. For the first time ever, Susannah and I saw the clouded leopard walking about and playing in its exhibit. She was so big and moved with incredible grace. She was definitely active at night, as opposed to during the day when she's hiding while sleeping somewhere - she was an awesome sight to see!
The next morning, we went to the Sea Lion area, where the girls made reusable tote bags and got a picture with the "recycled" sea lion. This sculpture is made completely from trash found in the zoo lake, an important message to dispose of our trash properly and to recycle when possible. Susannah is learning so much about her life "footprint" and how it affects our beautiful planet.
Phone Hackers! :)
Whoa, Mustangs! We went to Tulsa to watch the SMU basketball team play in the NCAA tournament - on St. Patty's Day, too!
The Plaza District with these cuties...we're in this area a lot thanks to our time at Lyric Theatre. We love trying new (and old) restaurants, and of course - Roxy's Ice Cream!
Susannah still likes to read to Sophie dog. And our sweet Sophie is still the perfect reading companion. We love you, Sophie.
Yep, Russell is still into knighthood. His training is real and he loves every minute. Now, if we could just find the perfect horse! :)
Look who we found while grocery shopping!
Susannah was so excited to run into the sweet Thunder Girls.
This just made her day!!
Happy 37th Birthday to me!
We celebrated at the Oklahoma Children's Theatre Fairytale Ball with Princess Leia and my very own Knight. Fun was had by all!
