February was an exciting month. Michael accepted a new job so we listed our house and it was under contract within a week. We are thrilled that it happened so quickly.
Then the real fun began...we went to California for 10 days!! It was a wonderful vacation spending time with our dear friends, playing on the beach, visiting Disney, and celebrating Dominic's baptism!

Beach days were so fun - and they wore the littles out! :)
Boardwalk stroll for these two cuties
Duffy Ride with Captain Medlin
The kids went to a local gymnastics gym for a super bowl party (for 5 hours!) and had a blast - and so did the grown-ups! :) We enjoyed the super bowl with the Dedeauxs at their home.
Ready for Disneyland,
Day #1
First stop - Star Wars!
We met characters, rode rides, built life sabers, and completed Jedi Training - the force was strong!
This is one of my favs - we met Kylo Ren and Russell immediately tried to use the force to take his light saber. It was perfect!
The kids picked out this shirt for me - I'm thinking I look pretty good on the dark side :)
Jedi Training
We met Thor and he was awesome...teasing Michael to flex his muscles for the picture. The kids are still talking about "Daddy's muscles" and how he is as strong as Thor, haha!!
Enjoying a Lemonade Ice Cream at Pooh's Corner
We have a picture of Susannah in this exact same spot 5 years ago. She wasn't even as tall as Minnie's waist then and look at her now! I love it that she's still wearing her Minnie ears and a Minnie outfit...my sweet little girl!
Light Saber - check
King Arthur Sword - check
Balloon holster with balloon Sword - check
Disney Day #1 was a BIG Success for King Russell!
Did we mention he found some awesome Star Wars figurines too? :)
And the Dark Side doesn't fall far from the tree....
California Adventureland!
We had a great time at this park too - lots of characters, rides, and yummy restaurants
Susannah loved meeting Anna and Elsa - she chose this outfit just for them! :)
Route 66, Tulsa style!
Little Russell could not believe that Lightening McQueen was just cruising down Route 66...he waved but was too amazed to move, so cute!
We had lunch with the Princesses in Ariel's Grotto
And we conquered Bug's Land!
Snuggling with new Disney stuffed animals and toys...sweet dreams precious ones!
Day #3 at Disneyland Park - we did it ALL! And our favorites more than once :)
Michael & I love Disney!
Mickey Ears Rice Krispies - our favorite!
A cast member offered us front row seats to the Nighttime Parade - it was amazing! The floats were so bright and the music was fantastic. It was such a great experience!
And we met the Suroviks after the parade - such a fun surprise!
Russell fell asleep on the way to the car, he was sitting up in the stroller :) SO MUCH FUN!!!
Dominic's Baptism was a blessed, joyous event. He is such a precious one and we are so excited to be his Godparents. We know God has wonderful plans for this beautiful baby!
Kayla did a great job helping with the ceremony
The Medlins hosted a delicious dinner and celebration afterwards at their home - it was the perfect day!
And then it was back to reality....time to coordinate our closing and move. Susannah was quick to tell us what our next home needs to look like....ok, you got it girlfriend! :)
