Mexico Trip

We have had a lot to celebrate over the past couple months and even more to celebrate in 2013 - Nat and Drew's 1 year anniversary, Papa's 65th, my parents 40th wedding anniversary, Michael's and my 10th wedding anniversary.  What better way to celebrate these joyous milestones than a trip to Mexico!  My parents treated Michael, me, Natalie and Drew to a luxurious 8-day vacation.  It was so much fun and very relaxing (did I mention the kiddos stayed home?)  Michael and I took full advantage of laying on the beach, going to the spa, eating & drinking, and doing a whole lotta nothing!  Thank you so much Mom and Papa for a wonderful trip full of special memories.  We love you!

Family picture before dinner at the French Restaurant.  The food was delicious and it was such a treat to be waited on around-the-clock!

The beautiful beach, just steps off of our room...paradise....

When we weren't eating or at the spa, you could find us here, on our beach bed....geez, life is rough! :)  Our room was just behind us, second hammock in - it was the perfect location.

Biddinger girls love their beach time!

Nat and Drew managed to unwind too!

Over-served?  Never in Mexico!

Ok, so we got a little active one day and took a bike tour into "town" - Puerto Morelos.  Puerto Morelos is a very small fishing village with 3 streets, some local markets and this famous lighthouse that has survived every hurricane over the past 100+ years.  Pretty cool.

The "Hola!" picture - we were greeted with champagne and by the time we made it to our rooms and then the beach, I was officially drunk.  Doesn't take much these days!  In my defense, there were people everywhere refilling my glass, offering me more to drink and eat, maybe I was actually a victim? :)  Whatever!  It took me 2.5 seconds to get totally relaxed and that's what's important. Ole!

Adios Mexico....we're happy, tan, and completely rested. Thanks for an amazing trip Mom and Papa!!
