The park is great, especially in the fall. However, I'm not so sure what I think of the sand. Sand all over Susannah's body - check. Sand in her hair - check. Sand in her diaper - check. Sand all over her clothes - check. Sand all over her mouth - check (we're still working on "the sand is not edible!") Sand in my car, the car seat, the stroller, and our house - check. Hmmm, sand is everywhere and yes, it's annoying. However, my heart tells me to roll with it. Childhood fun has no room for worrying about the messiness of sand. This is just the beginning, isn't it??
