SMU Tailgate
Out in Annapolis
DC, Capitol is behind us
The Naval Academy is beautiful and so rich with tradition. We went to the SMU tailgate with our friends Beth & John and their precious daughter Margaret. She just turned 1 and is sweet as can be! We also met up with our friends Julie (from DC) and Nick and Cooper (from Chicago).
Serious cuteness from Miss Margaret! These pictures are titled "The Margaret Show" :)
Now, what was Miss Susannah up to while we were gone? Well, she was being spoiled rotten by her Yaya and Papa! Susannah stayed with my parents and she had a wonderful time. It kicked-off when, after dropping us off at the airport, my mom took her straight to McDonalds and they enjoyed a happy meal together. Happy Meals were a common theme for the week, as were park visits, shopping (she picked out pink patent-leather mary janes and red sequin shoes with bows, of course!), the horse show, walks, and even a trip to TLC for some plant shopping. They were on the go and having fun. We received these phone pics:
Halloween Happy Meal bucket - she's so proud!
"Oh my gosh, french fries are so yummy"
When my parents and Susannah picked us up at the airport, we scooped Susannah up and she put her little arms around both of our necks and giggled. She said "I missed you." Oh, it was the best ever. And she has been telling us repeatedly over the past few days "I am so glad to be home." So are we Susannah because we missed you so much too! Fun was had by all and we are all happy to be home! :)
