Happy Halloween!

We had a blast celebrating halloween this year. Susannah dressed up as something different for three days straight.  She had two class parties and Russell and I attended one of them.  Susannah and her friends sang songs for us in Spanish and then the kids enjoyed special Halloween treats (Russell loved this part!). We trick-or-treated on Halloween, then we had family and neighbors over for a big dinner, topped off with Pumpkin Rice Krispie Treats and Caramel Apples. It was really fun!

When you have a busy busy little brother who gets into everything, it's best to keep all of your decor in one area - and up high! :)  Susannah decorated the dining room table for Halloween and then we decorated a little more around the house on actual Halloween day.

Here's my little monkey grunting and pointing at me for one more cheese ball.  He had stuffed his mouth with cheese balls and there was no way another one was going to fit in!

Happy Halloween!  The day is finally here.  We enjoyed a Halloween-themed breakfast complete with orange and black "spooky-cakes."

Susannah went as a ladybug to school on Halloween and Russell dressed as a pumpkin for the day.

I dressed up as a witch and Susannah said "Oh mommy!  You are a great witch!"  Hmm. Is that a complement?  My witchiness must come naturally :)
