It's been cold here, but we decided to brave the weather and head to the zoo last week and we're so glad that we did! It might have been a little cold for the people, but the animals were loving the brisk air and warm sun. Susannah was able to see so many up close. A deer even stuck it's nose through the fence to smell us - it was wild! Susannah was giggling, she loved every second. It amazes me that we can go to the zoo as much as we do and still think it's the best place in the world every time we go. Yeah, zoo! :)
This baby giraffe couldn't get enough of Susannah. She just kept staring at her and she was so close to us. Susannah was giggling, saying "Hi!" and waving at her.
This tiger was pacing the fence and roaring so loudly that we could hear it throughout the zoo. Seriously, he roared for almost an hour...feed that boy!
And then there was this tiger....lounging in the sun, right next to the fence. He was beautiful. We never get to see them this close or this still. I guess he had already had his lunch and was enjoying a nice nap!
Can you find my wild animal??
