We have had a very Merry - and white! - Christmas. We stayed with my parents after my dad had to come get us on Christmas Eve day. Our car was blocked in the garage by all the snow - the storm hit so quickly, it was unbelievable. The upside of being "snowed-in" is that it is always fun having everyone together. The Lewallen's joined us for Christmas Eve dinner and we had a great time cheering the SMU Mustangs onto victory! Susannah loved opening all of her presents from Santa and seeing all the snow. I'm so excited that she experienced her first white Christmas. We had a great time playing in the snow; and of course, we all ate way too much yummy food :) It's been a very special Christmas and now it's back to reality as we come home to a driveway full of snow. Right now, poor Michael is outside shoveling so we can hopefully get our car out soon.
